Prof. Dr. Jost Gippert (Goethe University of Frankfurt) and Dr. Sebastian Drude (Goethe University of Frankfurt and Museum Goeldi of Belém) are the project's applicants and coordinators.
Eva Maria Roessler (Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem at the Universidad Estadual de Campinas, Brasil) is responsible for linguistic aspects of the documentation. She is currently developing her doctoral thesis at Unicamp under orientation of Profa. Dra. Filomena Spatti Sandalo, a specialist in Guaycuruan languages and formal linguistic description. Jan David Hauck (University of California at Los Angeles) is a linguistic anthropologist. His work focuses on language change, language socialization, and identity politics with respect to language ideologies. Warren Thompson (University of New Mexico) is a social anthropologist. His research interests involve animism, religious change and transmission, and the cognitive science of religion. Mr. Hauck and Mr. Thompson are responsible for data collection and the anthropological aspects of the documentation.
