Chaco > Vilela
There
are no territorially-based Vilela communities at present. The Vilela
population is geographically disperse, its center being the recent
historical settlements in the province of Chaco. These include rural
areas and neighborhoods surrounding urban centers such as Resistencia
or Quitilipi. Migrant Vilela people from Chaco have also settled in the
province of Santa Fe and in Greater Buenos Aires. There is information
on families identified as Vilela living in other provinces in the
country.
