Semang
The Semang inhabit the tropical rainforests of the interior of the Malay Peninsula. Scattered groups range from the Trang, Yala, and Narathiwat provinces of southern Thailand down into the Peninsular Malaysian states of Kedah, Perak, Kelantan, and Pahang. Semang groups typically live in major river valleys, like those of the Perak, Kelantan, and Pahang rivers, but some (especially the Jahai) inhabit more mountainous regions.
