The list is intended to announce the LAN to the public and to interchange information concerning the LAN contents. Only list members can use it.

If you use a "signature block" at the end of your mail, the mailing list program may mistakenly believe each line of your message is a command; you will then receive spurious error messages. To keep this from happening, put a line starting with a hyphen

before your signature.
