L&C Field Manual and Stimulus Archive

The L&C field manuals are resources for collecting language data in an array of semantic domains and for exploring language in interactional use. Field manuals provide instruction for eliciting primary data from native speakers. These manuals, and part of the accompanying stimulus materials, have been made available in the L&C Field Manual & Stimulus Archives.

ELAN & ELAN template

For time-aligned transcription of video and audio recordings we use ELAN. ELAN is freely available from the LAT-MPI website.

We have developed an ELAN template to make sure our corpora are well-structured and searchable. A generic version of it is available for download here:
