The journal has been given a completely new look, especially for this sixth volume. The content this year ranges from genetic influences on the emergence of Alzheimerʼs disease to controlling your own social emotional behaviour and from audiovisual integration in monkeys to planning the movement of your limbs.
Best theses of students
The Proceedings of the Masterʼs Programme Cognitive Neuroscience was first introduced in 2006 with the aim of publishing the best theses of the students that graduated that year. The journal is run entirely by students following the official procedures of a scientific journal. This makes the journal a unique initiative with very few counterparts.
The formal presentation on February 25 will focus on current developments in neuroscience communication. Leading scientists from the Donders Institute (a.o. Peter Hagoort and Ivan Toni) will shed light on the topic of communication with the general public and communication among scientists.
