Katerina S. Kucera is a postdoctoral researcher in the Language & Genetics department at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen. She obtained her B.S. in Chemistry, summa cum laude from College of Arts and Sciences, University of North Florida and Ph.D. in Genetics and Genomics from Institute for Genome Sciences & Policy, Duke University, Durham, NC, U.S.A. During her graduate studies, she worked on X chromosome inactivation in human females with Prof Huntington Willard. She joined the MPI Language and Genetics Department in the summer of 2012.
