Ulf Liszkowski
I am interested in the origins and development of human social interaction, cognition and communication. I approach development from 3 lines: phylogenetic, ontogenetic and socio-historic/cross-cultural.
My current research focuses on infants' gestural communication; prelinguistic infants' social-interactional experiences across different cultures; infants' understanding of mental states; and infants' expectations of and motivation for joint collaborative activities.
My work is carried out in the
Communication Before Language Group
