Saskia van Putten

My PhD research focuses on information structure in Avatime, a West-African Kwa language. I collect data during field trips to Ghana, where the language is spoken. My research interests include: the interaction between discourse, syntax and semantics; typology; anthropological linguistics; African languages and language description and documentation.
