The Language and Cognition group at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics seeks a psychologist with strong technical skills to investigate the cognitive processes involved in interactive language use.
The Language and Cognition group at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics seeks a psychologist with strong technical skills to investigate the cognitive processes involved in interactive language use. The work will be undertaken in the Multimodal Interaction project in collaboration with the Neurobiology of Language group. Focal issues are goal ascription in joint action environments and the temporal processes involved in turn-taking. Experience in online measures such as eye-tracking or neuro-imaging techniques would be a distinct advantage. The MPI offers access to a wide array of experimental techniques, including eye-tracking,VR, ERP and fMRI labs. The postdoctoral position is open now and will remain open till filled.
