About MPI

 

The Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics is an institute of the German Max Planck Society. Our mission is to undertake basic research into the psychological,social and biological foundations of language. The goal is to understand how our minds and brains process language, how language interacts with other aspects of mind, and how we can learn languages of quite different types.

The institute is situated on the campus of the Radboud University. We participate in the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, and have particularly close ties to that institute's Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging. We also participate in the Centre for Language Studies. A joint graduate school, the IMPRS in Language Sciences, links the Donders Institute, the CLS and the MPI.

(10-19 uur per week)


Interesse in taal en onderzoek?
Wij willen ons team versterken en zoeken 2-3 nieuwe student-assistenten.

Werkzaamheden:

 

  • opzetten en uitvoeren van psycholinguistische experimenten
  •  verwerken van data
  • ontwikkelen en pretesten van taalstimuli

Vereisten:

  • * Nederlands is je moedertaal
  •  je bent zorgvuldig, en kunt goed in een Engelstalige groep functioneren
  •  je hebt belangstelling voor experimenteel onderzoek
  •  je zit in het tweede studiejaar of hoger en bent tenminste een jaar beschikbaar

Daarnaast strekt tot aanbeveling:

  • ervaring met psycholinguistisch of experimenteel-psychologisch onderzoek
  • programmeerervaring (bijv. Excel, Matlab, Presentation)
  • goed taalgevoel

Arbeidsvoorwaarden:

  •  salaris: 8.15 Euro bruto per uur
  •  flexibele werktijden op de campus (MPI, maar evt. ook Donders CCN)
  • * waardevolle onderzoekservaring bij een gerenommeerd wetenschappelijk instituut
