Inge Zwitserlood
I studied linguistics at Utrecht University, where I finished both my MA and PhD. I have been involved in the development of education materials for deaf children as well as in the organization of an exhibition on (sign) language. After my graduation, I focused on applied sign language research at one of the institutes for the deaf in the Netherlands for five years, and after that, became affiliated with Radboud University.
Currently, I do fundamental linguistic research on Sign Language of the Netherlands (NGT) in a project called "On the other hand" with Onno Crasborn, and on Turkish Sign Language (TİD) in the project "Language in our hands" with Asli Özyürek.
