The CoCoA group welcomes its new members
We are very pleased to announce that Emma Cohen and Marie Schäfer have joined the Max Planck Research Group for Comparative Cognitive Anthropology.
Emma is an anthropologist. She completed her Ph.D. in 2005 at the Institute of Cognition and Culture, Queen’s University Belfast. From there she moved on to be a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology at the University of Oxford. She has carried out ethnographic fieldwork on an Afro-Brazilian religious tradition in Belém, northern Brazil.
Marie is a cognitive scientist with an MA in Evolutionary Anthropology from Oxford University. The topic of her MA thesis were the social effects of imitative behaviour.
