The Language & Cognition Field Manuals are resources for collecting language data in an array of semantic domains and for exploring language in interactional use. You can find entries relevant to the IFL project on the L&C Field Manual & Stimulus Archives website.

ELAN & ELAN template

For time-aligned transcription of video and audio recordings we use ELAN. ELAN is freely available from the LAT-MPI website.

We have developed an ELAN template to make sure our corpora are well-structured and searchable. A generic version of it is available for download here:

This template is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 License, which means you are free to copy, distribute, and adapt it provided you attribute the original version to the L&C Department at the MPI for Psycholinguistics.
