Updates


COREX 6 update1 - June 2004

(22 Jun 2004) A first update for COREX 6 is available.

Take a look at the Changelog for an overview of changes/bug fixes in this update.

Installation instructions:

  1. COREX must be closed before starting before performing the update.
  2. download the following file: update1.zip
  3. unzip update1.zip into your COREX6 installation directory (e.g. C:\COREX6). Make sure that the COREX6 directory now contains these 4 files: update1.sh, update1.bat, update1.xml and corexud1.zip.
  4. For Windows/DOS users, open a commandline window and change the current directory to the COREX6 installation directory. Type at the commandline:
    update1 corexud1
    Unix/Mac users, type at the commandline:
    sh update1.sh corexud1

This update will make a backup copy of all files that are replaced. Backup files can be found in the subdirectory 'backups/corexud1' directly under your COREX6 directory. These files can be restored any time by typing the command below from your COREX6 directory. This command requires the files update1.xml and update1.[bat|sh] to be present in the COREX6 root directory.

windows/dos: update1 revert
unix/mac: sh update1.sh revert
