Nesrin Bulut recently completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Middle East Technical University, and she is continuing there as a Master’s student in Developmental Psychology.
Her research interests focus on early parent-child interaction, joint attention, emotion co-regulation, and multimodal communication. She is especially interested in how children and caregivers coordinate gaze, affect, gestures, and linguistic input during social interaction.
Nesrin joined the Multimodal Language Department as an Erasmus+ trainee, working under supervision of Dr. Paula Rubio-Fernández. During her traineeship, she hopes to further develop her research skills and gain experience in studying early communicative development from a multimodal perspective.
In her free time, Nesrin enjoys spending time with animals, exploring new places, and working on creative projects such as scrapbooking.
