Newcomer: Reyhan Furman

Reyhan Furman completed her PhD in Linguistics at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics and Radboud University. Before coming back to the MPI, she's worked as a Senior Lecturer in Developmental Cognition at the University of Lancashire in the UK for the past ten years. Her research focuses on how children use and comprehend multimodal language.
Reyhan will be joining the Multimodal Language Department as Laboratory Manager, where she will work with Prof. Aslı Özyürek and the MLD team.
Having previously lived in Nijmegen and worked at the MPI, she is excited and happy to be back. Outside of work, she enjoys walking in nature with her dog and swimming.
