Radboud Young Academy Cross-Faculty Catapult Grant

They were awarded this funding to create societal impact: helping children achieve fuller immersion and comprehension while reading a storybook or listening to one being read aloud.

The team will develop a 'Critical Words' matrix from children’s book texts to personalize children’s reading exercises in the Letterprins game, with the aim of enhancing children’s reading engagement and comprehension. Their goal is to apply interdisciplinary insights from MPI, CLS, and DCCN and ultimately bring this application to market to benefit children.
