Marjolein Van Donkelaar


I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Population Genetics of Human Communication group embedded in the Language and Genetics department of the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics. I obtained bachelor’s degrees in both Medicine and Philosophy and a master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. For my PhD I joined the department of Human Genetics of the Radboudumc and the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour in Nijmegen to investigate the complex genetics of aggression and aggression imaging genetics. Now, my postdoctoral research focusses on disentangling autism heterogeneity through multivariate genetic analyses.
