I am interested in sign language, with a focus on how it is used in everyday social interaction. I am currently a PhD student in the 'Human Sociality and Systems of Language use' project, in the Language and Cognition department. My research focuses on how deaf signers in Lengua de Señas de Argentina (Argentine Sign Language, LSA) deal with problems of understanding (other-initiated repair) in naturally occurring conversation.
