I am a postdoctoral researcher and data manager in the Imaging Genomics Research Group of the Language and Genetics Department.
My research mainly focusses on understanding the genetic background of phenotypes related to brain lateralization: structural and functional differences between the left and right sides of the brain. Examples of phenotypes that are lateralized in the brain are hand motor control and language. Our research focuses both on health and disease, as brain lateralization can be altered in various developmental and psychiatric disorders.
Additionally, I am involved in the data management of large genetic and imaging datasets that are used by researchers in the department and I am a member of the Data Protection Committee.
