I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Language and Genetics Department, working on the GENRES (Genomic and Environmental factors of Resilience to Early-life Stress) project, funded by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Wuhan University, followed by a five-year joint PhD program at Zhejiang University and City University of Hong Kong. My doctoral research focused on cognitive functions (including cognitive biases and executive functions) and resilience in early adolescent mental health. Before joining MPI, I spent nearly three years in the UK as a postdoctoral researcher on the R2D2-MH project with Prof. Dieter Wolke at University of Warwick. We investigated risk and resilience in preterm populations using longitudinal cohort studies.

At MPI, I collaborate with Beate St Pourcain in the Population Genetics and Human Communication group to investigate how genetic and environmental factors shape resilient outcomes following early-life stress using data from multiple population cohorts.
