The library of the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics opened in 1976. Since then the collection has been continously extended. The collection follows closely the current research.

Today we have about 35.000 books and 15.000 bound journal volumes in our library.

Through our catalog our staff has access to more than 500.000 ebooks, 17.000 ejournals, our 35.000 books, and about 8000 publications and presentations from our repository. Relevant reference databases can also be accessed.

In close cooperation with the research staff we are handling the publication pages on this website. The publication pages are rendered from our Repository MPG.PuRe. The data are uploaded nightly and displayed on person pages, department pages, as well as project pages.
