In order to import an XML lexicon, LEXUS requires two XML data files (which, when unzipped, are the result of the above described convert process). To import these files into LEXUS, select File >. Select first a file containing the structure of the lexicon and later a file containing the lexicon data.
Depending on the size of the lexicon, import may take some time. When the import is finished, a pop up message that the import has been successful will appear.
The imported lexicon will be visible among the lexica in the Available Lexica list at the Workspace level.
