The library of the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics opened in 1976. Since then the collection has been greatly extended. The collection follows closely the current research.

Today we have about 30.000 books and 20.000 bound journal volumes in our library. We take about 80 current subscriptions to print journals.

Our staff has access to more than 30.000 online journals as well as the most reference databases for their research.

The library is open during the normal institute's working hours, and visitors may consult the library during these hours on previous appointment.

Please contact the library staff for further information.
