Baby and Child Research Center

The Baby and Child Research Center (BRC) is a collaboration between the MPI and Radboud University. All our research into language development, specifically children's language, social and cognitive development until the age of 6, is carried out here at the BRC. Researchers working on these studies are also interested in factors that have an impact on this development, such as the well-being of pregnant women and childcare.

The work of our Language Development Department would not be the success that it is without the cooperation and help of parents, soon-to-be parents and their children who volunteer to take part in our studies. Our research teams are always looking for willing volunteers (from the beginning of pregnancy until the child is 6 years old) to be test subjects in their studies. So, if you would like to participate in our research and make your very own contribution to science, please visit the Baby and Child Research Center website. Here you will find more detailed information about our research, recent news, as well as information on how to sign up.
