Gesture lab

Participants are expected to take part in different tasks while they are being video taped. Examples of tasks include watching movies and narrating them to somebody using both speech and gesture or using only the hands ( i.e. pantomimes), playing computer games with a co-participant on a screen, looking at pictures and naming them, or having conversations with a few other participants.

Participants may also be occasionally asked to wear gesture gloves to track the motion of their hands or eye tracker devices as they are doing these tasks.
