We are saddened to learn that Marnix Krop suddenly passed away on Thursday July 28.
Marnix Krop has been a dedicated member of our Board of Trustees since 2015.
As the Netherlands’ ambassador in Berlin from 2006 to 2013, he always fostered the relations with the Max Planck Society and the special position of our German institute in the Netherlands. We are grateful for his many contributions to the well-being of our institute. Our sincere condolences go to the Marnix family.
