Animal Bioacoustics and Human Speech Symposium

8 June 2022
Max Planck Institute
Auditorium 163
On June 8, 2022, the Comparative Bioacoustics Group invites you to attend, in person, the “Animal Bioacoustics and Human Speech” symposium!

Our goal is to bring together researchers and students interested in these topics, share ideas, foster learning, and provoke insightful discussions. Four keynote speakers–Dr. Livio Favaro (University of Turin), Dr. Olga Feher (University of Warwick), Dr. Marco Gamba (University of Turin), and Dr. Sonja Vernes (MPI/University of St. Andrews)–will give presentations covering a diversity of species and topics. Additionally, members of the Comparative Bioacoustics Group will give “flash talks” on their ongoing research.

Registration for participants is now open. Registration is free of charge but compulsory if you wish to attend the symposium, and is limited to the first 100 people. The deadline to register is June 1, 2022.
