The MPI is proud and happy to announce that Andrea Ravignani has been awarded the Disciplinary Diversity & Integration Award in Cognitive Science.

This Cognitive Science Society conference award recognizes the best cognitive science research in disciplines that have been traditionally under-represented at annual conferences and journals, particularly those including novel interdisciplinary perspectives and integrative approaches to understanding the human mind. Andrea Ravignani receives this honourable recognition for his CogSci 2021 symposium entitled 'The evolution of rhythm from neurons to ecology'.

Ravignani is group leader of the Comparative Bioacoustics research group at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen.
