Coronavirus and your visit to the Max Planck Institute

The Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Psycholinguistics is actively monitoring the developments surrounding the coronavirus and is taking all precautionary measures enforced by the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).

The following information is currently important to our visitors.

We kindly request you to refrain from coming to the MPI and cancel your appointment, if any of the following applies to you:

  • you have had contact with a patient with the coronavirus;  
  • you have been in an area where the coronavirus is present; 
  • you have a fever over 38.0 degrees Celsius and respiratory symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath.

 

Risk areas

Within the Netherlands, the province of North Brabant is currently classified as a risk area.

Worldwide, the following areas are identified as areas at risk:

  • China (including Hong Kong and Macao)
  • Singapore
  • South Korea
  • Iran
  • Italy
