Abstract submission is now open for the 3rd Many Paths to Language workshop, which will take place at the Max Planck Institute in Nijmegen from 25th to 27th October, 2023. This will be a hybrid event, so presenters and audience can attend in person or online.

This 3-day workshop focuses on meaningful differences in the way children acquire language. It will explore (a) multiple sources of variation in early language development, including: children’s linguistic and cultural environments, their cognitive maturation, and the structural properties of the languages they are acquiring, alongside (b) the implications of this variation for the mechanisms that drive and support native language acquisition, given the overall robustness of learning in the face of this variability.

We are delighted that Leher Singh and Judit Gervain have agreed to be our invited speakers, and that Melanie, Soderstrom, Thierry Nazzi and Claartje Levelt have agreed to be our invited symposium speakers for our symposium in honour of Anne Cutler

Abstract submission

Abstract submission (4000 characters) will close at midnight (anywhere in the world) on 2 June 2023.  Authors will be notified of presentation decisions before 1 August, 2023.
