Berna Dikyuva

Berna Dikyuva obtained her undergraduate degree from Anadolu University in Eskişehir, Turkey. In 2015, she joined the Ministry of Family and Social Services, contributing to the TİDSözlük project by collecting Turkish Sign Language (TİD) video corpora from four cities, coding the data in ELAN, and working on sign language modeling. She has continued this work in the TİD Grammar Book and TİDLeX projects. Currently, she works in the Multimodal Language Department with Prof. Aslı Özyürek, Dr. Beyza Sümer, and Hasan Dikyuva, focusing on modeling TİD lexicon and usage patterns, coding sign language data in ELAN, and teaching at international sign language courses. Her research interests include sign language linguistics, corpus development, and multimodal language analysis.
