Helin Erden

I am a PhD student in the Psychology of Language Department at the MPI and Leiden University, supervised by Antje Meyer, Stan van der Burght, and Yiya Chen (Leiden University). My research broadly focuses on prosody in relation to models of speech production, and I currently investigate the time course intonation planning using neuroscientific and behavioral methods, aiming to understand how sentence-level intonation interacts with other aspects of linguistic encoding.

I hold an MSc in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and a BA in Psychology from Boğaziçi University, Turkey. My academic background combines training in psycholinguistics and cognitive science, with research experience across a range of topics in language and cognition.
