Eleanor Huizeling

As a postdoctoral researcher in the Neurobiology of Language department, my research converges cognitive neuroscience techniques (M/EEG, eye tracking and virtual reality) to investigate how linguistic, extra-linguistic and visual context influences the brain’s processing of written and spoken language. I study how extra-linguistic cues, such as disfluencies (uhs and ums), converge with linguistic context to inform language comprehension and prediction.

I am also Editor-in-Chief for “Het Telige Brein”, the Neurobiology of Language department’s blog. www.hettaligebrein.nl
