I am Lanmiao Liu, a PhD student at the MPI for Psycholinguistics, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Aslı Özyürek, Dr. Zerrin Yumak and Dr. Esam Ghaleb. I am passionately pursuing my research journey in the exciting realms of computer vision, natural language processing, and multi-modal learning.

My research is primarily focused on the fascinating challenge of generating avatar gesture. I delve into the intricate world of generating more realistic and natural avatar gesture, encompassing not only their faces and bodies but also their interaction conversation in a multi-modal environment.
