Congratulations to Pim Levelt

Pim Levelt has played a central role in the history of our disciplines, pioneering work on language production in particular, and writing a recent history of psycholinguistics. He still takes a very active interest in the institute for which he did so much to build. We wish him, his wife Els and his family all the best on this special day.

To celebrate his achievements, we publish today an extended interview in which director emeritus Stephen Levinson interviews Pim about the founding of the institute and about the development of the scientific field of psycholinguistics over the decades, and Pim Levelt's role in it.
