InScience Film Festival
At InScience International Science Film Festival Nijmegen, film and science inherently coincide. This platform highlights this exciting cross-pollination.

Science inspiring filmmakers, and film inspiring scientific thinkers, gathered together in a festival that offers this unique synergy to a wider audience to enjoy. And we are part of their broad program, with talks, film debates, Q&A’s and a workshop on the cutting edge of science and art.

  • Wed 12|3: Science & Society: The Power of InternationalisationIn this panel discussion, leading scientists including Caroline Rowland and industry experts will explore the impact of internationalisation on research and business.
  • Fri 14|3: A Look Inside Max Planck InstituteWe open our doors for a unique insight into our work (on registration only).
  • Sat 15|3: Charlie & The Chocolate Factory introduced by Izabela Jordanoska.
  • Sun 16|3: Shorts: Menu C: with a workshop by Vicky Fisher, lexploring both how humans make sense of dance and how dance can be used to make sense of ourselves and our world. This interactive talk will include live musical reflection by food policy researcher Daniel Polman (Wageningen University)..
  • Sun 16|3: InScience Junior: Letterprins and Meet the Scientist 
  • Sun 16|3: Stand-up Science: A stage, a microphone, and a series of inspiring mini-lectures, demonstrations, and workshops. Here you will find Ezgi Mamus & Hasan Dikyuva, presenting the latest technological developments for the deaf and blind, from accessible devices to AI-driven apps - and alternatives that prioritize inclusivity, usability, and impact in the here and now.
