MPI TalkLing, the science blog of the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, is live!
05 November 2020

MPI TalkLing is the science blog of the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen on which MPI researchers talk about all aspects of language sciences.
The authors of MPI TalkLing cover a diverse range of topics, from why communicating virtually is so tiring and how COVID-19 changes our language, to what slang languages can tell us about the human language system and how film makers make sure that their aliens talk truly alien. Also, in the interview series Interview with a recent PhD graduate they give a stage to MPI PhD researchers to showcase their work.
Editor-in-chief Merel Wolf says:
“With this trilingual blog, our Institute is taking a big step in the field of science communication. We can now showcase why we are interested in language and what we do as researchers. Our blog aims to instill greater interest amongst young readers towards the language sciences and psycholinguistics.”
